Minnehaha Falls
After church on Sunday morning, we loaded the car (including Gma & Gpa D) and headed out to Minnehaha Falls Park. We'd never been there before, and Gma hadn't been there since the 3rd grade!! We figured it was about time!
We started by serving up a picnic lunch.
Then we headed out for our hike around the falls. It was gorgeous!
It's no wonder there were SO many photographers there!
We even found a great "spash" area for the kids and adults to explore.
After walking all around the Falls, we walked down to the Mississippi River Lock and Dam. This was a little boring for the kids while we waited for a group of boats/canoes to load into the lock so that the gates could close, but afterwards, we were glad we waited! It was very fun to see!
