Meet Brooklyn's "Mummy Girl" Pumpkin.

She picked this pumpkin from the pumpkin patch to decorate for her school's decorating contest.

We're not sure if it will win any prizes, but we're sure proud of our 1st Place, Blue Ribbon girl!!

Trinity Marathon Day!

watch out ebay, here we come!

We've decided to start selling on ebay.

Not a big deal, really.

But it was SUPER cool to go to the USPS and get a free "behind the scenes" guided tour into ebay shipping.  Brooklyn and I met with our PostMaster here and she gave us a "presentation" on the ins-n-outs, the tips & tricks and secrets to shipping.  Probably more than we'll ever need to know, we don't see ourselves having to ship internationally for the few little things we'll be selling.  Still, very cool insight into the world of traveling packages!!

We've decided to keep our "selling" name secret, so no one can "follow" us.  But if we have anything we think you need, we'll clue you in.

Sharing Their Great Grandma's Russian Tea

Great Grandma Joyce's Russian Tea

2 cups sugar

1/3 cup lemonade powder

1 cup instant tea (unsweetened)

2 cups tang

1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

3/4 tsp. ground cloves

Spoon 2 to 3 teaspoonfuls into mug and fill with hot water!

Enjoy!!

I wish I could share one more cup with my Grandma while we watch The Price Is Right.

Colby's Leaf Bug

Colby found a leaf bug one morning. And we spent about an hour watching this SLOW moving creature make his way all the way down our brick siding, over to the corner of the house, around the corner and crawl into a mum plant!  He was the coolest little thing.

Can you tell where he is in this picture?  It looks like Colby's about to bite him!
